As you all know, you are what you eat! Therefore, Oma’s family always tries to eat organically. However, we have been missing out on easy frozen pizza night. What a blessing when we were able to try and review BOLD Organics Rising Crust Pizzas!

The crusts are airy and crunchy, the sauce is a balance of sweet and spicy and the pizzas are topped with the highest quality ingredients including Organic Valley grass fed cheese and nitrate free meats. The resulting flavor and texture is superior to any other frozen pizza and many customers say the pizzas don't even taste like frozen pizzas but fresh pizzas from their local pizzeria!

The 9.5" pizzas weigh a substantial 15.25-15.5 ounces which serves two for dinner with a side salad or veggies. BOLD Organics Rising Crust Pizzas 4 flavors are available - Cheese, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage And Spinach Feta.

Oma is on a Gluten-Free diet and Opa is a vegetarian. Therefore the Cheese BOLD Organics Rising Crust Pizzas was perfect for us. We just preheated the oven, removed the pizza from the box, and baked it for about twenty minutes at 425 degrees. Oma and Opa were very pleased with the taste and texture.

Therefore Oma was thrilled when Two Rivers Coffee sent a 40 pack of these Tootsie Roll Hot Chocolate K-Cups Samples to review.

Oma does not have a K-Cup brewing machine. However you do not need one for these. Oma just poured the contents in a cup, added hot water, and stirred. 

I love the fact that these are all single servings and thereby will have a great shelf life! They were all tasty, but the Junior Mint flavor was my favorite! As I added the hot water, the aroma of mint took me back to the movies! 

Each single serving is 70 calories.

Tip: This cocoa pack is NOT COMPATIBLE with Keurig 2.0 machines.

Big Boy Time at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Oma and Mom spent the day at Auntie Sierra's bridal shower.  That left Reef and his Dad time for some fun Father and Son time.

They spent the afternoon at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park!  The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park until 2010, is an 1,800 acre zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California, near Escondido. It is one of the largest tourist attractions in San Diego County. 

For this special occasion Reef and his Dad dressed alike including  their 'Valley Center Skate Spot' T-Shirt!

Recent studies have suggested that children whose fathers are actively involved with them from birth are more likely to be emotionally secure, confident in exploring their surroundings, have better social connections with peers as they grow older, are less likely to get in trouble at home and at school, and are less likely to use drugs and alcohol. Children with fathers who are nurturing, involved, and playful also turn out to have higher IQs and better linguistic and cognitive capacities. (source)
