Suncoya Spiral Slicer Review + Giveaway #Suncoya012015

If you are like Oma, you are always looking for healthier ways to improve your family’s diet. The Suncoya Spiral Slicer makes it easier to introduce your clan to delicious pasta style meals utilizing low carb vegetables.

Suncoya Spiral Slicer

This affordable yet high quality spiral slicer is great at slicing zucchini, cucumbers, sweet potatoes and much more! It has proven a very tricky way for Oma to sneaking nutritious veggies past Opa.

The Suncoya Spiral Slicer is easy to use:

  • Clean, scrub or peel your chosen vegetables. If the vegetable doesn’t have a thick, tough, peel then leave it on for added fiber and goodness.
  • Place the end of the vegetable in the spiral slicer (as you would a pencil in a sharpener) and start twisting. Thin strands will come out of the side.
  • Because vegetables aren’t perfect, the strands won’t be as smooth and uniform as pasta strands but they still taste great!
  • Keep your fingers away from the blades!
  • The spiral slicer comes with a cap which you can use to grip vegetables as you twist them into the slicer
  • You may end up with a little bit of veggie too small to twist. Use a fork to twist in the last bit or simply cut it up, or eat it raw, or save it for something different like a soup or salad.
  • Leave the stem end of the vegetable on – this makes it a little easier to manipulate in the slicer. Insert the desired vegetable into the slicer cone and twist like you would a pencil in a pencil sharpener. You choose which side depending on how thick you want the noodle.
  • Maintain a steady reasonable force. Keep the vegetable straight, not at an angle for long vegetable spaghetti-like strands.
  • Use the slicer cap at the end for leverage to get in a few more turns.

It is as easy as whetting a pencil in a pencil sharpener.
