Eleven Months Young
Reef Indy is almost one years old. He has changed so much in this short period of time. Reef is an early walker; he has been walking for a month already and is really fast. As you can tell from the photo, Reef loves to feed himself though he is a bit messy.
Milestone of this month - Reef has figured how to open up doors all by himself . . . so we have to watch carefully to insure that he does not escape outside. He loves to play outside!

Reef Indy
9-Months-Old
At nine months, Reef Indy has become an expert crawler. He is also standing up with ease and attempting to take a few steps. It will not be too much longer before he starts walking.
Reef is also enjoying finger food. He loves to feed himself and others too!
Reef Indy also prefers to be outside to play. He has no problem crawling on the concrete and loves to explore.
He has started to talk with 'Mom' and 'Dada' being his first words. Reef has no fear and really loves Oma's big dogs - I though I heard him say 'doggie' a couple of times today!

Reef Indy is Seven Months Old!
We celebrated Reef Indy's seventh month birthday by having breakfast at our favorite hometown cafe. What's not to like about "Home Sweet Home": Homestyle cooking; Everything made fresh daily; Always delicious; and Big portions. Least not forget great friendly service!
One of Reef's favorite activities is eating. Avocados are his most favorite food.

Look Who Is Six Months Old
It is hard to believe that Reef Indy was born a half a year ago. In just six short months, Reef has started to learn how to communicate and is beginning to eat solid foods. He is starting to sit up alone and can get himself to his toys (although Oma would not call it “crawling” yet.) Reef is also able to entertain himself for longer periods of time.
What a joy and blessing Reef Indy is to his entire family.

Reef Indy's 2-Month Well-Baby Exam - Perfect.
Reef Indy brought his parents (Amanda & Zack) to the pedestrian’s office yesterday. It was time for the two-month well-baby check already.
Well-baby exams are an important way to monitor Baby Reef's growth and development. Regular checkups also provide an opportunity to develop a relationship with your baby's doctor.
The pedestrian will likely recommend the first well-baby exam within three to five days after birth or shortly after you're discharged from the hospital (Check – Done that) — and additional well-baby exams every two to four months for the first year.
Although there were a few tears during shot time, Reef Indy did really well. His pedestrian was also pleased with Reef’s growth progress. He weighs 13 pounds 9 ounces and is 24.25 inches long.

Reef's Sonogram
Oma was thrilled to accompany Baby Reef’s parents and Grandma Wendy to the doctor’s appointment for a routine sonogram. I was even more pleased to hear that all was progressing well and normally! Doctor believes that Reef will be a big baby - eight pounds or more.
The Ultrasound scans send high-frequency soundwaves through your uterus (womb). The soundwaves bounce off the baby as echoes. These echoes are turned into an image on a screen that shows your baby's position and movements.
Hard tissues, such as bone, reflect the biggest echoes. These appear white in the image, and soft tissues appear grey. Fluids, such as the amniotic fluid that your baby lies in, appear black, because the echoes go through them. The person performing the scan (sonographer) will look at these shades to interpret the images.
A sonogram is the picture taken during the ultrasound. The sonogram is a "still-shot" of the fetus.
