Small Packing Organizer Review #packingcubes

Oma does a lot of traveling, for both business and pleasure. The Small Packing Organizers have really made the art of packing more efficient. They help Oma organize her clothing and incidentals so that unpacking at the hotel is a breeze!

The Dot & Dot Small Packing Cubes are available in an unbelievable ten cute colors and come in a four-piece set. For my review, I chose the yellow set of Small Packing Organizers. I like to use one to pack my pants and shorts; one to pack my shirts; and one to pack my underwear, bathing suit and such.

The last organizer is saved for anything I need to bring to the race track. Now I will never forget that much needed track item again! The Dot & Dot Small Packing Cubes are sturdy and well made. Good thing because Oma can be rough on her luggage.

The only suggestion Oma has for this product is to offer a multi – color four pack. That would make it even funnier and easier to recognize which Dot & Dot Small Packing Cube you needed!

Oma loves glow sticks. However, in all honesty these were a tad disappointing. Approximately one out of every ten did not “glow.” More frustratingly two of the sticks broke and spilled making a mess.

However for under $9 for 100 units; this product might still fit the bill!

Here is a simple recipe Oma loves - Black Mustard Seed Spinach:

• 2 lb. spinach
• 1 Tbs. Indian sesame oil or vegetable oil
• 1 dried red chili
•  1 tsp. Jiva Organic Black Mustard Seed
• 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
• 1/2 tsp. salt, plus more, to taste

Rinse the spinach thoroughly and drain. Set aside.

In a large fry pan over high heat, warm the oil. When it is very hot, add the chili and fry, stirring, until it turns very dark brown, about 1 minute. Add the mustard seed and cover the pan. When the seeds stop sputtering, after about 30 seconds, uncover and add the garlic. Cook, stirring, until the garlic turns golden, about 1 minute.

Add the spinach, a handful of leaves at a time, and stir gently. As soon as the spinach leaves wilt, add more. When all of the spinach leaves have been added, stir well and add the 1/2 tsp. salt. Cook, stirring, until the excess moisture evaporates, about 5 minutes. Adjust the seasonings with salt. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Reef Indy Halloween Fun At The Bates Nut Farm

Over 50 years of fall traditions and memories have been created at the Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. Family and friends enjoy the tractor hayrides, straw maze, petting corral and pony rides. Reef Indy Balboa Park Halloween Family Day

Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre urban cultural park in San Diego, California, United States.  In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

Mom and Dad took Reef Indy to the Balboa Park Halloween Family Day on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Over two dozen participating museums and cultural attractions throughout the Park presented creepy craft projects, scary gallery tours, spine-tingling storytelling, costume parades and contests, and other fun surprises from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Highlights of this year’s park-wide Halloween Family Day include mini-carnival games and costume contests for prizes hosted by San Diego Park & Rec., a doggie costume contest in the Spanish Village, the San Diego Air & Space Museum’s annual rooftop pumpkin drop, a free children’s concert and activities in the Spreckel's Organ Pavilion, and free activity and prize-drawing booths on the Prado and walkway to the Prado.
