Wreaths Across America and Chevrolet

This month Chevrolet is honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who selflessly gave their lives for this great nation. Chevy is providing a fleet of vehicles to "Wreaths Across America" which will help the organization place over 700,000 wreaths at military cemeteries across the country.

The fleet of Chevrolet vehicles, including several decorated Suburbans and Silverados, will travel from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Along the way, Chevy employees, dealers, and volunteers will donate over 13,000 wreaths that will help the organization accomplish its secondary, but equally important, objective, which is to honor and educate young people about the sacrifices those who've died for our country have made.

"We think it is so important to teach our younger generation that our freedoms are not free, and that the stories of our fallen and departed heroes should not be lost through the years," said Dan Adamcheck, Chevrolet regional sales and marketing manager. "Laying those wreaths and paying tribute is a small way to show how grateful we are."

In addition to its support for Wreaths Across America, Chevrolet has expanded its military discount program – normally reserved for active-duty, reserves, retired personnel and veterans within a year of discharge – to include all 23 million veterans and their spouses. The discount is available through Jan. 4, 2016.
