When Oma first took the slicer and grater out of its package, it appeared that the slicer was a bit flimsy. I was worried that it would not do the job. Boy was Oma wrong. The Cheese Slicer made nice thin slices of cheese . . . perfect for topping crackers or other appetizers. The Cheese Grater also worked well, producing perfectly grated cheese – very fine and airy

Oma’s only suggestion would be to the appearance of the set. Since the grater has nice red trim on the handle; it would have been optimum to decorate the slicer in red as well.
