Reef Indy
Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Carlsbad Caverns National Park - High rising ancient sea ledges, deep rocky canyons, cactus, grasses and thorny shrubs - who would imagine the hidden treasures deep beneath this rugged landscape? Secretly tucked below the desert terrain are more than 119 known caves - all formed when sulfuric acid dissolved the surrounding limestone.

50 Things to Know About Getting Free Stuff to Review #thingstoknow

Adding reviews and giveaways to your blog are excellent tools to add readership to your site. If you are looking for ways to get free stuff; this book is for you.

The “50 Things to Know About Getting Free Stuff To Review” eBook shares tips and tricks for reviewing products and more importantly, how to get products to review. It is based on author Susan Kinchen’s knowledge from years of blogging and reviewing products!

Oma loved that the pages were packed with tips and tricks that can help you understand how to sell yourself to readers and companies. This is an awesome guide for beginners and equally useful as a reminder/checklist for practiced reviewers.

“50 Things to Know About Getting Free Stuff To Review” is a quick and easy read. My favorite tip was #13 of the 50 – “Set Up Separate Email Account.” There are many ways to set up free email accounts with Yahoo, Google, or other email services. It does not take long to set up and can save you a lot of time in the future.

Reef Indy Roams Oscar Rose Park

On his first cross-states skate trip, Reef Indy roams the Oscar Rose Park. This skatepark in Abilene, TX was built in 2001 by a local contractor.

The Oscar Rose Park consist of a street area and a connected flow bowl. The park allows both skaters and bikes, and is lit up at night. Definitely a fun park if you are in the area.

It was rougher than OB. Made it super slow, Dad commented via Facebook.  Still fun tho.

New Crown Royal Regal Apple

Smooth to the Core

So you have finished rinsing all the dishes from that grand turkey dinner with friends and/or family. Now your brain has advanced to the Christmas festivities. One of your facetious tasks is to plan your signature alcoholic beverage for the Christmas celebrations. Well relax, I have the perfect solution to that detail.

Did you know that Crown Royal has recently introduce a new Regal Apple Flavored Whiskey?

Crown Royal Regal Apple is a unique blend of hand-selected Crown Royal whiskies and Regal Gala apples resulting in the perfect balance of robust whiskey notes and crisp apple flavor. The apple extension is a great option for those fun-loving whisky drinkers looking for a high-quality flavored offering from a brand with a history of fine whisky making.

To maintain the essence of the Regal Gala apple, the apples start in a mixture of water and alcohol. The mixture is then distilled and specific selections are collected based on aroma. The aromatic fractions are blended to achieve the resulting apple flavor characteristics of the Regal Gala apple. The 70 proof (35% ABV) whisky opens with a slightly tart, crisp, apple flavor balanced with signature Crown Royal whisky with notes of caramel and light spice.

The blend creates the ideal balance of flavor and whisky, finishing on a crisp apple note with balanced sweetness, culminating in a full-bodied smooth finish.

The Water Garden and More!

Breakfast at the West Side Cafe. They serve classic comfort food in an old-school diner setting decorated with war-veteran memorabilia! Their food was good; the service was great.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens, built in 1974, is located on the south end of downtown Fort Worth between Houston and Commerce Streets next to the Fort Worth Convention Center

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is a beautiful and refreshing oasis. Designed by Phillip Johnson (Amon Carter Museum of American Art), the Water Gardens is an architectural and engineering marvel to be enjoyed any time of the year. The park features three pools of water: the aerating, the quiet and the active pool.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Joe’s Pasta and Pizza. Joe's is family owned and proudly located in Historic Downtown Granbury, Texas. This place had the friendliest service and great food at an unbelievably reasonable price.

What a fun day!

Family Fun Day in Fort Worth, Texas

We had time for a quick morning walk infront of Uncle Moses and Auntie Sitara's house this morning.   The weather was a nice 64 degrees.

We did the "Tourist" thing at the famous Stockyards

The Fort Worth Stockyards is a historic district that is located in Fort Worth, Texas, north of the central business district. They are a former livestock market which operated under various owners from 1866.

We ended our adventure with dinner at Spiral Diner – a vegan restaurant. The diner opened its door on August 21, 2002. Spiral Diner uses organic ingredients whenever possible. All items on their menu are 100% vegan (no meat, milk, eggs, honey, casein, etc) which means they are naturally cholesterol free. Try their root beer – it is the best.
