Reef Indy at Mathers Point Grand Canyon

The majority of visitors to the South Rim first gaze over the Grand Canyon at Mather Point. Although other places have slightly better views, Mather is the number one choice as it is closest to the entrance station, and a short walk from the visitor center (the Canyon View Plaza, opened in 2001).

Mathers Point Grand Canyon is an astonishing, breathtaking glimpse into the Grand Canyon. Two narrow, railed overlooks, built on projecting rocks, provide views along the rim in both directions. The panorama extends from the lower end of Garden Creek, taking in some of the Bright Angel Trail, and a spectacular view over the deep canyon of Pipe Creek. To the west, you can jump on the Rim Trail, which offers more scenic vistas on its way to Yavapai Point. You can also see Bright Angel Creek, on the North Rim, between a collection of red buttes and ravines.

Reef Indy Stops At The Petrified Forest National Park

Conservationist John Muir explored the Petrified Forest back in 1904. The Park has  more than 13,000 years of human history and culture that are represented at Petrified Forest National Park. From prehistoric peoples to early explorers, from the Civilian Conservation Corps to Historic Route 66, the park has many stories to tell.

Reef Indy - Indian School Ditch in Albuquerque

After a hardy breakfast at the Waffle House, the family headed out for their skateboarding adventure of the day.

This ditch spans most of the city and almost any part of this ditch is good for skating and/or biking. There are even “Natural Halfpipe” like sections in certain places.
